Terms of use

What you can count on, and what you cannot.

This page is not finished. The data controller is not yet determined. It must be filled in before the app is used by anyone other than the person who built it.

The service

Player Method is a tool for golf practice. You may use it for your own game, free of charge unless the app says otherwise.

The service is provided by CONTROLLER NOT YET DETERMINED.

Your account

The account is personal. You are responsible for what is done from it.

You can close the account whenever you want. Your data is then deleted as described in the privacy policy.

What the app is not

The app does not give medical advice. The pain ratings are there so that you can see patterns in your own practice. If you are in pain, talk to a doctor or physiotherapist, not to an app.

The app does not calculate handicap, net score or Stableford. It shows gross statistics: strokes, putts, fairways, greens in regulation and score to par. The handicap you enter in your profile is only shown, as you wrote it.

Course data - lengths, par and stroke index - comes from the clubs' own information and may be wrong or out of date. The app says how certain each piece of data is. Check against the scorecard before a competition round.

Availability

The service may be down for maintenance or because of faults. No promise of uptime is given.

Do not keep the app as the only copy of anything you do not want to lose. Export your data if it matters to you.

Your content

What you put in - rounds, notes, videos - is yours. No ownership of it is taken over.

Swing videos are stored on your own phone. If you change phones or clear the browser's data they disappear, and they cannot be recovered. Export the ones you want to keep.

Liability

The app is provided as is. No liability is accepted for damage, lost data or results not achieved as a consequence of use, to the extent the law allows such a limitation.

Anything that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law is not limited.

Changes and law

The terms were last updated 2026-10-13. If they change materially, it is shown in the app.

Swedish law applies. Disputes are tried by a Swedish general court. As a consumer you can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
